Table Maintenance Requests are used to create new tables and to modify previously stored tables.

The Table Maintenance Requests used to create or modify
tables are:

ADD

creates the seven line types.

APPEND

adds characters to the end of an existing line or data type.

CHANGE

changes characters in a line type or data type.

COPY

copies entire tables.

DELETE

removes lines from the active table.

EDIT

activates the UNCLE Editor for interactive creation and alteration of tables.

ENTER

builds tables from a specification file (E-file).

ERASE

erases tables.

FILE

writes the active table to the Table Library (T-file).  The table is no longer active.

GENROW

generates similar rows from a set of prototype rows.

GENTAB

generates similar tables from a prototype table.

LIST

shows the table numbers of tables in the current project.

MACRO

allows a series of requests to apply to more than one table.

PRINT

prints all or part of a table.

PUT

temporarily stores line types from the active table.

RENUMBER

renumbers tables.

REPLACE

replaces all of an existing line type or data type.

SAVE

writes the active table to the Table Library.  The table remains active.

SPELLCHECK

checks the spelling in the Table Library or Enter file (E-file).

START

initiates a new table or retrieves a table from the Table Library.

WRITE

creates a specification file from UNCLE tables.
