Title Control Words begin with an ampersand (&), followed by two letters.  The two letters indicate the function of the control word.  There are two types of Title Control Words, used for either formatting or substitution:

Some Title Control Words used to format or position are:

&AI

All lines of title Indented.

&BO/&BE

turn Bolding On in Microsoft® Word output; Bold End.

&CC

Center title over Columns.

&CE

CEnter title between preset margins.

&CP

Center title between Page margins.

&EX

EXclude title from Microsoft® Excel or Lotus output.

  &FI

use the following text string as the Filter Label in an UNCLE REPORTS Variable.

&IN

INdent all lines of title except first.

&MA

reset print MArgins.

&NP

skip to New Page.

&PO/&PE

change to new POint size; reset to default Point sizE.

&RF

Right Flush.

&RJ

Right Justify.

&SM

Set Margins.

&TC

Tab to Column.

&TM

Tab to Margin.

&UT

Underline Title.

&ZB

display title in Both processed table and table of contents.

&ZC

title in table of Contents only.

&ZT

title in processed Table only.

Some Title Control Words used for substitution are:

&DA

substitutes the current DAte.

&ID

substitutes the International Date.

&TI

substitutes the current TIme, based on 12-hour clock.

&MT

substitutes Military Time, based on 24-hour clock.

 

&PN

substitutes the Page Number for a table.

&PS

substitutes the Page number for a Session.

&TN

substitutes the Table Number.

&TS

substitutes a Table number, Sequentially assigned.

&CT

substitutes a formatted list of assigned labels for Columns Tested for significance.
